How To Have A Sleepover With Your Stuffed Animal
Sometimes, you just want to chill with your stuffed animal at night. But sometimes you want to PARTY! Here are some steps that will help you plan a successful stuffed animal sleepover.
Step One: Plan Your Sleepover
Before you have the sleepover, make sure you plan it. Make sure the day you are going to have the sleepover is not to busy, and make sure you have the right supplies to make it happen. Also, plan what you are going to do at the sleepover and what types of food you will eat. Go buy that food at a store. It is always better to plan ahead!
Step Two: Cozy Up Your Stuffed Animal
Place your stuffed animal(s) in sleeping bags which you can make by sewing a small piece of fabric on the outer seam and on the bottom when folded over. Or, you can purchase a sleeping bag that is pre-made. If you don't have a sleeping bag, you can wrap your animal in a small baby blanket or washcloth. Give them a pillow. Make sure everyone is nice and cozy.
Step Three: Yummy Snacks
Bring out the snacks you planned to eat and drinks you planned to drink. Make sure they are foods and drinks are things you and your animals like. Some fun examples are hot dogs, pizza, soda, Goldfish, popcorn, and cheese. Try to bring some healthy foods besides your junk foods.
Step Four: Activities
Now it's time to have the real fun! You can do the activities you planned in your plan area or come up with new ones. Some fun activities are watching scary movies, making friendship bracelets, playing dress up, and drawing.
Step Five: Talk To Your Stuffed Animal
All through the night, talk to your stuffed animal and ask if he/she is okay and if they are getting bored. Ask your stuffed animal if they are still hungry, or if they want to do a different activity. It is important to keep your stuffed animal happy, so try to honor their wishes. Make sure to change your stuffed animal into their pajamas at some point too!
Step Six: Going To Sleep
You and your stuffed animal can choose to go to sleep in many ways. You could watch a movie until you fall asleep, or you could go to sleep whenever you feel tire. It is up to you. Make sure to tuck your stuffed animal in and say goodnight to them when you go to sleep, though.
Step Seven: Breakfast
The next morning, you and your stuffed animal should enjoy a delicious and hearty breakfast. Some good breakfast examples are cereal, toast and butter, eggs, waffles, french toast, and yogurt. Or you could go eat out at a breakfast restaurant like I-Hop Waffle House! The choice is yours!
Step Eight: Goody Bags
If you invited other friends, send everyone home with a goody-bag. Choose items related to stuffed animals like stickers, stuffed animal clothes, or small toys. It doesn't have to be really expensive because it is a small treat.
